Knowledge, skills, and/or activities that integrate two or more professional fields or disciplines to help create solutions or services.
The term “interdisciplinary” is often used interchangeably with “multidisciplinary.” However, true interdisciplinary activity is distinguished by the extra quality of integrating multiple disciplines, not just drawing from those fields.
